COVER FRIDAY, FUNKY FRIDAY: Higher Ground performed by Red Hot Chili Peppers - I am sure this has been posted numerous times, but it NEVER gets old. It is about the most perfect song covered in the most perfect way.

I love the Stevie Wonder original, but the manic energy that the Chili Peppers add makes it wholly different. Not better mind you, just different in an awesome way. Make sure to get off your ass and dance when you listen this song. It is the best way to keep warm.
