Underoath,
Lost In The Sound Of Separation

WORSHIP SUNDAY: Too Bright to See, Too Loud to Hear by Underoath - This band has been a mainstay in the Christian metalcore scene for a while now.  However, the Lost in the Sound of Separation album released in 2008 was a turning point, with the themes and the music taking a darker and heavier tone

This tune starts calmly enough, a heartfelt plea to God to not be left forsaken.  Then is quickly turns into a soaring crescendo of desperation to not forget the forgiveness we have received.

If your work leaves our hands
Then we will be wonders and vagabonds
They will stare and say how empty we are
