I used to believe that time was the most important thing I have, but I’ve come to believe differently. The single most valuable resource I have is uninterrupted thought.
Funny to read this on the heels of my love Tumblr/barely tolerate Twitter parody post. I thought this was going to be another one of those silly tech startup posts, but Adam makes some rather poignant points. There is definitely the sense of Twitter as “outsourced schizophrenia” that invites “a couple hundred voices” into one’s head. While I do find Twitter to be a useful tool and a valuable source for information, taking a break from the constant stream is something worth doing, if only to clear your mind of the outside thoughts and explore your own mind’s stream of thought.
